Topic: Hotel Sourcing - It’s a new ball game! Strategies for Buyers and Suppliers that optimize performance

Presenter: Jeff Hillenmayer – Head of Corporate Sourcing, Americas for HRS

Jeff currently holds the position as the Head of Corporate Sourcing for both North and South America at HRS where he oversees the team of consultants which work on transient hotel programs in the Americas.  Prior to working for HRS, Jeff was the VP of Expert Services at Lanyon, where he led the team which worked on the corporate transient, corporate meetings and supply side transient service offerings.  Jeff also held a leadership position at Advito which is the consulting arm of BCD travel and several positions in the revenue management discipline at Marriott and Hilton.  He has Bachelors in Hotel Restaurant Management from the University of Delaware and an MBA from George Mason.

What you will learn from Jeff’s presentation:

• Why might their be mistrust between buyers and suppliers and how can that be fixed
• Understanding what makes a piece of business valuable from both sides of the business.
• How do other trends in the industry impact the way we do business
