Panel Discussion: Trending Risks & Controls in

Corporate Travel Management

Do you really know how your travelers are spending your company dollars?  Join us to look at the increasing amount of corporate fraud on travel spend and how you can control this challenge using emerging technologies and enhancing your travel policy and expense controls.  We will also look at how you can protect your travelers from being the victims of data breaches and fraud throughout their trip.  You will receive specific takeaways that can be implemented at your firm and learn best practices in this key area of travel management.

 

Moderator: Neil Hammond

Neil Hammond, Partner and Director of Air, Hotel and Policy at Goldspring Consulting, has 15 years’ experience in the travel industry. He joined GoldSpring Consulting in May 2014. Prior to joining GoldSpring Neil led a team of airline and hotel consultants at Advito, the consultancy division of BCD Travel.

Guest Speaker: Allan Bachman

Allan Bachman is the Education Manager for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in Austin, Texas.  He is currently responsible for the educational content of all ACFE domestic and international conferences, new seminar development and online learning.  Allan also regularly speaks for national organizations on a variety of anti-fraud and fraud related topics, including Investigating on the Internet using Social Media, how and why Ponzi schemes continue to flourish, and the ACFE’s biannual Report to the Nations.

Guest Speaker: Isaac Bowman

Isaac Bowman is a Principal consultant in the T&E practice at Infosys Consulting with a special interest in identifying and minimizing the enterprise risks associated with T&E spend. Isaac posts daily to LinkedIn on this topic and his article, "Bribery: The Hidden Risk Inside Business Travel Programs," recently made the BTN's 2017 Trends to Watch list.

Guest Speaker: Tom Nicholson

Tom Nicholson is a corporate travel industry veteran who has held roles on the buyer and supplier side of the business.  Tom is the Portfolio Development Director for the United Airlines UATP program for the US.  He has also served in the consulting division of American Express Global Business Travel, in sales roles with Hertz, and Travel & Transport as well in travel manager roles at Facebook and AT&T.
